The Avant-Port neighborhood lies at the southern tup of Cap d'Agde, neighbored by Vieux Cap beach and the entrance to the harbor. This is authentic, historical Cap d'Agde alongside the cliff, 2 Brothers Rock and Fort Brescou which can be seen off in the distance. There is a pleasant walkway along Richelieu Canal, around the Ile des Pêcheurs and up to the jetty. This neighborhood is very well liked by line fisherman. |
